Overview

The Cyber Security Coordinator is a multi-purpose role. This position will be responsible for performing the Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, gathering and reviewing documentation, tracking Cyber related activities, working within the security organization and information technology to identify control points and documentation related to cybersecurity risk management functions. In addition to the cybersecurity efforts, the Cyber Security Coordinator will be responsible for operational business as usual processes that currently reside within the security risk function as directed by the VP.

Responsibilities

  • In addition to the cybersecurity efforts, the Cyber Security Coordinator will be responsible for operational business as usual processes that currently reside within the security risk function as directed by the VP.
  • Conducting the annual Cybersecurity Assessment including engaging teams across the company, gathering and reviewing documentation to support responses, tracking cyber related initiatives and gathering evidence prior to gap closure.
  • Supporting operational processes currently residing within the security risk functions including: metrics and reporting, process documentation, identification of control points and potential control testing methodologies
  • Supporting internal audit document requests, regulatory requests, and SOX audits
  • Updating trace risk to reflect the cybersecurity assessment

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree preferred and /or 3 years of experience in the Information Technology or Business Communications field. 
  • 1- 3 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services preferred
  • 1- 3 years of experience in process control, audit, and regulatory issues required
  • 1- 3 years of experience in Project Management and Project Coordination preferred
  • 1- 3 years of experience in Busines Communication required 
  • 1- 3 years of experience with Audit Remediation required
  • Familiarity with security audit reporting & communication is required
  • Basic knowledge of information security control concepts, products and mitigation techniques is required
  • GRISC and/or CGEIT certification preferred
