Overview

The position of Imaging Supervisor is a working supervisor responsible for overseeing and managing the workflow of the divisional imaging team. This position ensures that all documentation uploaded and/or scanned to the bank’s imaging system by the Imaging Specialists is done so in a consistent, accurate and timely manner. The Imaging Supervisor will work closely with the Post-Closing Manager and with bank personnel to ensure proper procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Manages workflow to ensure that all documentation is uploaded and/or scanned in a timely manner as required by procedures – assigns daily work to the imaging team
  •  Assumes responsibility for documentation upload and/or scanning in the absence of staff members or in overload situations – is a working supervisor
  •  Ensures proper call-back procedures are followed for review of prior day’s imaging by the Imaging Specialists for quality, completeness, and accuracy
  •  Monitors the boarding log and maintains the imaged loan file log to ensure that all loan files are being submitted by lending personnel in a timely manner
  • Assists all lending personnel as questions arise about imaged files, both regarding locating documents and electronic transfer of documents to the imaging department
  • Provides necessary training to Imaging Specialists
  • Performs personnel actions including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment
  • Participates in and supervises special projects as assigned by management
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two (2) or more years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education    and experience. Work related experience should consist of a financial institution cash handling and/or customer service background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
  • Previous experience in supervising a small group of employees (2+).

  • Basic experience, knowledge and training in lending activities, terminology and products and services
  • Intermediate skills in personal computer, mainframe computer system, word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) programs
