The position of Credit Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the activities of the Credit Administration Department. Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, providing administrative and office support to the managers and officers in various departments such as Underwriting, Credit Compliance Group and Credit Administration; coordinating the approval of all loan requests that require approval by Credit Administration; writing the minutes for all Credit Administration meetings, loan committees, as well as coordinate meetings and schedules; gathers data and compiles various reports for management; maintains files; issues correspondence; maintains office supplies; receives and distributes mail and correspondence, promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations.


  • Coordinates the approval and tracking of all credits that require approval by Credit Administration and Loan Committee.

  • Follow up and track all LRR and maintain an accurate log of pending and approved LRR

  • Assist the Chief Credit Officer and Credit Administrators in researching, compiling, and completing various projects. Also make recommendations for credit projects when needed.

  • Consistently applies good decision making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals, requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures

  • Prepares correspondence as requested by Credit Administration staff.

  • Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records.

  • Gathers and calculates data to prepare a variety of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for management ensuring reports are accurate, complete and prepared on schedule. 



  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent from a four (4) year college or university; three (3) or more year’s related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 

    • Work related experience should consist of a financial analyzing or lending background. 
    • Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
  • Intermediate experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.)

  • Intermediate experience, knowledge and training in all lending activities and terminology.

  • Must have knowledge of commercial, construction and real estate loan processing.
