The Core Systems Workflow Specialist is responsible for creating complex workflows in the native core system workflow application. As the subject matter expert, have knowledge about workflow systems overall, including the retention of collected data throughout the process. Assist on large, higher complexity projects, including mergers and acquisitions. This position has a specialized focus on the deposit, lending and treasury functions that the Bank performs and the associated workflows around those processes.


  • Maintains strong knowledge of the workflow tools, particularly within the document repository system 
  • Strong understanding of workflow methodology, including business requirements, testing and production. 
  • Provides support to WAB to ensure that pertinent business processes and user experience needs are met with workflow tools. 
  • Works closely with the business units and QA team to coordinate Business UAT testing prior to publishing releases. 
  • Manages overall performance of established workflows.  
  • Works closely with members of the Technology, Operations, Loans, ePMO, Vendor Management, Product and Finance teams to determine needs, create solutions and implement desired workflows 
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Five years of experience required with knowledge in banking and branch operations. Knowledge of all types of banking services.  
  • Five years of experience in a support role working with business users and third-party vendors, particularly FIS. 
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills to effectively uncover and resolve complex issues. 
  • Accurate self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment & under pressure as needed.  
  • Release management experience
  •  Banking application experience is preferred.
