The position of the Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for supporting the activities of the Centralized Covenant Compliance Group.  This position works in conjunction with the Loan Officers and Credit Administration.


  • Tracking item maintenance on loan packages.  Reviews the approved loan documentation to verify that the terms contained in the loan documents align with those approved. 
  • Monitors the tickler system for maintaining appropriate reporting requirements, covenants with accurate frequencies, including dates for all loans and existing relationships.
  • Assist with collateral maintenance and monitoring.  Reviews collateral requirements and ensures the bank is adequately protected in the event of a loss by adhering to policy guidelines. 
  • May follow up on insurance tracking, UCC filings, real estate taxes, and any other items deemed necessary for adequate collateral protection.
  • Assist in researching, compiling, and completing various projects and may also make recommendations for credit projects when needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent from a four (4) year college or university; two (2) or more year’s related experience and/or training a plus; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 

    • Work related experience should consist of a financial analyzing or lending background. 
    • Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
  • Intermediate experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.)

  • Intermediate experience, knowledge and training in all lending activities and terminology.

  • Must have knowledge of commercial, construction and real estate loan processing.
