The Treasury Financial Analyst provides support to the Bank’s Treasury department which is responsible for the overall cash management, investment portfolio, bank borrowings and capital management of the bank.  The position works very closely with the Senior Treasury Analyst and Bank Treasurer must have the ability to work independently and be counted on to monitor the liquidity of the bank on an on-going basis.  The position assists in all aspects of the management of the Bank’s investment portfolio and provides support for management and board reporting.


This is an entry-level position for a recent college graduate that has interest in financial analysis, investments and banking. Ideally the candidate has or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or a similar discipline.


  • Daily monitoring of the Bank’s liquidity position including surplus cash and / or short-term borrowings.
  • Collateral management for all secured deposits and derivative positions that are backed by investment securities.
  • Support the Bank’s investment portfolio including trade settlement, safekeeping records, pledging, principal and interest tracking and monthly reconciliations of the investment holdings.
  • Development of management and board reports support the Bank’s Treasury department.


  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required in one of the following programs: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management function as it applies to accounting preferred
  • Strong personal computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
