  • Overview

    The Renewable Resources Credit Analyst will have the opportunity to learn to structure transactions in the rapidly growing renewable energy industry for a leader in technology banking. Bridge Bank’s Renewable Resource Group provides debt that enables the acquisition of, construction of, or term financing for solar, wind, energy storage, and other assets. This position will support the origination, underwriting, and ongoing management of these loans. The Renewable Resources Credit Analyst is responsible for debt modeling, financial statement analysis of developers and power purchasers, and developing credit studies for the Loan Officers and Executive Management. 


    • Assist the lenders in sizing loans by creating, customizing, and maintaining the group’s core cash flow models.
    • Collect, organize and analyze customer or company data, such as financial statements and collateral documents.
    • Manage virtual data rooms.
    • Perform financial statement analyses (including spreading).
    • Draft term sheets, opportunity memos, credit authorizations, and relationship reviews for Loan Officer and Executive review.
    • Inform lenders of relevant trends of specific loans, portfolios, or industries.  
    • Assist with industry analysis and development of strategy.
    • Meeting-driven and industry conference travel may be required.



    Required Qualifications:

    These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner.  Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines. 

    • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from an accredited college or university.
    • A minimum of three (3) years or more in commercial and industrial credit underwriting or related experience and/or training.
    • Demonstrated competence in financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling using Excel. 
    • Demonstrated ability to spread financial statements and tax returns and make pertinent comments relating to the current credit risk as reflected by the spread.
    • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Excellent computer skills to include Excel and Word.
    • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects with excellent organizational and time management skills. 
    • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision while performing duties.
    • Demonstrated client-service focus.
    • Intellectual curiosity.


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or related field.
    • Experience in or knowledge of renewable project finance or other non-recourse project finance structures.
    • Experience with power purchase agreements or equipment leases.
    • Experience in commercial real estate or construction loan underwriting.
    • Experience with Moody’s RiskCalc.
