The IT Business Analyst II acts as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community working with IT project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed. The IT Business Analyst II is an active thought partner and application visionary that shapes the technology demand among the business community.




  • Work with executive and senior leaders to create and maintain an operating plan to achieve the strategic vision and operating platform that defines the people, processes, tools, and technology
  • Partner with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements
  • Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications Partner with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing
  • Document user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures
  • Coordinate the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Write requirements and test specifications for assigned projects
  • Design and understand data flow diagrams
  • Support end-users for applications such as Cognos, FISERV, Corporate Online Banking, and NetCapture
  • Conduct user set-up within application systems according to policy and procedures
  • Assist in creating compelling business cases for projects involving application systems
  • Communicates with vendors, business partners, and application engineering


  • Bachelor degree required
  • 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 1 year of Banking experience is required
  • 1-3 years of Technical Writing and/or System Documentation experience is preferred
  • 1-3 years of System Development Life Cycle  experience is preferred
  • Possess outstanding communication skills both verbally and written be highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and changing business requirements
