The Marketing Officer is responsible for assisting the Marketing Director in designing and executing marketing and sales support efforts for the bank. Serves as a resource for local executives and sales teams, business units and departments on tactical marketing initiatives, public relations, event marketing and general sales support. Plays a key role in developing market/footprint specific strategies and campaigns, while also collaborating with marketing partners in other geographies on bank-wide initiatives and campaigns.
Acts as the division CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) lead in supporting the sales team by: assisting with basic CRM-related questions, providing division management with sales metrics and data on a regular basis, ensuring dashboards and reports are adequate to effectively track marketing/business development initiatives, ensuring reports are visible and easily accessible to sales managers and division executives, assisting with creation of marketing lists and regularly communicating best practices/FAQ’s.
Responsible for keeping the website updated and relevant, measuring success, reporting results as a business development tool and developing digital marketing strategies to support the website’s success.
Assists with designing and executing tactical plans for marketing and communications activities.
Serves as a resource for local executives and sales teams with customer experience management, sales support, and public relations activities.
Serves as a point of contact for marketing support of business development activities including budgeting, sponsorship ad creation and fulfillment, event coordination and execution, email marketing for assigned sales team and ROI tracking of expenditures.
Works with the Division Marketing Director to create and update collateral and to develop promotions and/or campaigns to support the selling of bank products and services.
Represents the bank in various, civic, and community development events to further enhance the bank’s image and develop additional business. Identifies partners for business and brand development.
Assists in managing the division’s marketing budget and invoicing. Partners with local executive management on community sponsorships, donations, and Community Reinvestment Act contributions.
Assists the director in maintaining a consistent corporate image for the bank. Assists with the development and placement of marketing collateral for all media outlets (print, radio, TV, online, billboard, etc). Responsible for maintaining division website content refreshed and engaging. Coordinates messaging with the central marketing team for content delivery to local and national media outlets.
Assists the director in performing market and competitive research. Gathers data from targeted sources useful in the sales process.
