This position is responsible for the development of new Treasury Management (TM) business, the expansion of existing business relationships, and managing ongoing relationships with TM customers across the nation. This is achieved through developing and delivering viable process solutions requiring extensive profiling, prospecting, needs assessment, pipeline management, and deal management creativity that result in sales successes for our technology clients and prospects.
Meets annual sales goals, sales activity, and growth target by developing and executing an innovated strategy to retain and further penetrate existing relationships. Develops energized sales plans for territory and key customer accounts while analyzing customer needs. Designs customer-centric treasury management solutions to ensure clients have both receivables and payables strategies, and provides consultative expertise on the liquidity management cycle. Uses consultative and strategic sales skills to turn prospects into clients while including appropriate sales partners.
Serves as the lead advocate for Treasury Management within the department as well as with assigned partners. Represents the Bank in the local and regional Treasury Management communities, and in industry groups. Develops independent channels to prospect for new Treasury Management clients and manages the process to maintain a pipeline of potential targets. Maintains current and comprehensive knowledge of all TM products, services, industry trends, competitive environment and service issues.
Delivers solutions content with partners and customers through in-market sales events. Makes comprehensive presentations and proposals including RFPs to new and existing businesses on treasury management solutions. Provides consultation to clients by creating thorough needs analysis to determine appropriate treasury management solutions.
Works closely with product managers to provide market Intel to ensure TM product stay competitive. Assists management in the development or modification of services. Supports both ACH and RDC reviews in conjunction with relationship managers. Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas. Coaches other TM sales officers as needed or directed.

Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent from a college or university
7+ years of middle market companies and large corporations experience in one or a combination of the following: (B2B) sales, business development, or treasury management
Experience in developing sales plans, go-to market and calling strategies required
Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies
Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
Previous experience exceeding established sales and customer satisfaction goals
Active Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation required
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
