The Core Systems Technical Analyst is responsible for being the day to day operational component of the group. The operational tasks of daily system maintenance, collaboration with internal partners on workflow.
Maintains knowledge of all Core Banking and Ancillary systems. Expected to grow into Subject Matter Expert(SME) on Core Banking Systems.
Has a deep understanding of interfaces between Core Banking Channels and ancillary systems which facilitates quick issue diagnosis for applicable systems.
Subject matter expert on lending platforms and provides technical and process support to the Bank to ensure all business processes and user experience needs are met.
Works closely with internal Business Owners to coordinate Business UAT testing prior to applicable system maintenance.
Performs verification of maintenance made by other team members.
Performs secondary and/or backup task for workflow administration.
Core Vendor administrative duties pertaining to issue management and requests made.
Attends weekly meetings with core vendor and escalates items as necessary.
Liaisons between the internal Business Owners and Core Vendor for ongoing projects and/or new projects.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Five years of experience required with knowledge in Data Management
Five years of experience in a support role working with business users and third-party vendors.
Release management experience
FIS Core Banking application experience is preferred.
Knowledge of all types of banking services.
Strong communication, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills to effectively uncover and resolve complex issues.
