  • Overview

    This Intranet Developer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and promoting the Bank’s Intranet sites, including updating content, developing new features, working with end-users to implement collaboration and workflow tools, and promoting the Bank’s culture. The ideal candidate will have technical background sufficient to collapse several SharePoint 2010 sites into one cohesive SharePoint 2013 site, create master pages and governance for all contributors to follow, as well as the creative ability to write and edit content that addresses the business need. This person will work closely with technology and marketing teams to ensure compliance and consistency across all of the Bank’s divisions.


    • Design, develop and implement SharePoint 2013 solutions, including custom lists and libraries, webparts, features, sites using SharePoint related tools, widgets, and other scripts. Document SharePoint configuration and architecture.
    • Design, develop and implement SharePoint 2013 workflows which requires in-depth knowledge of SharePoint Designer, and other related tools.
    • Perform administrative tasks, including configuration, implementation, capacity planning, patching, upgrading, testing and backup/restore.
    • Update and maintain content daily. Monitor content to avoid duplication, ensure accuracy, and remove inappropriate content. Monitor system usage, security, capacity, and performance to ensure availability.  Develop and maintain indexing, search features, MS integration, and other key utilities. 
    • Collaborate with end-users to develop department, division, and project related sites for content sharing and collaboration. 
    • Provide guidance to other contributors of SharePoint to ensure a consistent look and feel, even across departments, divisions and project sites. Train end-users on the use of SharePoint solutions and features.





    • High school diploma required along with 3-5 years of experience developing and designing Sharepoint. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 1-3 years of experience in banking and financial services required.
    • 1-3 years of experience with banking products in general required. Experience with deposit and payment products, and online technology platforms preferred.
    • 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft, SQL, .Net, Active Directory, IIS, PowerShell, and web development tools. MS Certifications preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong proofreading skills, and strong attention to detail required.
    • Must be a highly creative self-starter.
    • Must demonstrate the ability to execute sound judgment.
    • Exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively within tight deadlines required.
