    Western Alliance Bank is looking for a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to support a large inventory of COTS, in-house developed, Vendor on-premises, and SaaS applications. We want a talented, highly-motivated engineer who can take initiative, maintain a sense of urgency, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


    • Work both independently and as a part of a team to design, build, test, and maintain a complex web infrastructure.
    • Work in a high energy team environment to deliver complex infrastructure changes
    • Handle production support efficiently and recommend preventative steps
    • Develop innovative approaches and solutions to complex technology challenges
    • Create and maintain well-written technical documentation
    • Balance and prioritize multiple concurrent projects effectively



    • 3 years - Microsoft Windows Server experience
    • 3 years - demonstrated experience in Microsoft IIS
    • 3 years - SQL Server experience
    • 3 years - demonstrated experience in Microsoft Active Directory
    • 3 years – Windows PC experience
    • Bachelor’s in engineering, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experience


    • Strong understanding of Relational Databases
    • Strong understanding of Authentication and Authorization paradigms
    • Mid-level SQL skills
    • Mid-level Active Directory skills
    • Mid-level Networking skills
    • Microsoft Office 365 skills
    • MS Azure experience
    • Citrix experience
    • Visual Studio Experience – C#, SSIS
    • MS TFS experience
    • Data Profiling experience
    • Mid-level ETL experience
    • Experience deploying and configuring Windows and Web applications
    • Ability to debug and troubleshooting website issues on both servers and web browsers.
    • Ability to deploy updated code or content to websites, web applications, and web services
    • SiteCore experience
    • Functional knowledge of load balancing concepts (persistence, load balancing method, etc.)
    • Understanding of DNS
    • Understanding of subnets and firewalls.
