  • Overview


    The position of Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for performing duties related to loan servicing; processes consumer, commercial and real estate loan payments and advances on lines of credit;  responds to group emails and phone calls; researching loans on systems; pull consumer and commercial credit reports; and assisting with preparation of demand letters for payoff requests.


    • Respond to department email requests for financial transaction processing and/or system maintenance, and research.
    • Update Loan Servicing ticklers in either core system or other designated system.
    • Prepare demand letters for payoff requests.
    • Respond to department telephone inquiries.
    • Prepare financial transactions such as payments and advances.
    • Process various reports, such as UCC expiration reports for continuations or terminations.
    • Pull credit reports for consumer and/or commercial loan requests.


    • High school graduation or GED
    • Banking & Financial Services- Knowledge & skills resulting from one to three year's experience
    • Loan Servicing Experience and/or training - Knowledge & skills typically resulting from one to three years's experience
    • Intermediate knowledge and training in all loan servicing activities terminology, products and services resulting from one to three year's experience
    • Working knowledge of FIS IBS Insight
    • Effective written and communication skills
    • Basic office computer system operation skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
