The Technology Banking Credit Analyst is responsible for spreading, managing and maintaining financial background information on present and prospective technology customers, and assists with underwriting analysis for the Relationship Managers. Position includes managing spread assignments, making financial analyses, and maintaining related records and files. The incumbent is also responsible for the preparation of a variety of credit department reports as assigned.
The Commercial & Industrial Senior Commercial Banker is responsible for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of major and complex commercial real estate, equipment, SBA, commercial building and business loans in compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures; develops business checking and deposit relationships with customers; and promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. The Senior Commercial Banker will be responsible for growing and maintaining a portfolio size of 75MM - 150 MM.
The position of the Senior Commercial Banker will have an active participation in sales management and officer call programs, may assist with providing leadership, training, and support to less experienced loan officers and other staff members.

The Loan Administrator is responsible for processing and closing all commercial loans in our HOA Division (new loans, loan renewals, and loan modifications with a variety of structures, collateral, rates and terms), ensuring quality, completeness and accuracy. The position will work closely with the Leader of the HOA Lending Division and with bank personnel to ensure loans comply with state and federal laws, regulations, and bank lending policies and procedures. This position is also expected to promote business growth by delivering excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
The position of Assistant Vice President, Commercial Underwriting is responsible for reviewing commercial loan requests and renewals for working capital lines of credit, commercial real estate loans, term loans, formula based lines of credit, traditional asset based lines of credit and other Bank lending products. The underwriter reviews the loan structure, financial spreads, entity structures, collateral, market data and reports to understand inherent risks and prepare a recommendation to Credit Administration in the form of opportunity memos, loan presentations, administrative action memos, and annual reviews. The Commercial Underwriter may also exercise supervision of credit analysts.
The position of Relationship Manager is responsible for identifying a target market for new business and subsequently develop and establish a book of new business from those relationships. The position is responsible for the negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of a variety of major and complex corporate banking loans in compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures; develops business checking and deposit relationships with customers.
Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations
The Portfolio Analyst position works alongside Credit Administration with the objective of providing portfolio visibility. This position is responsible for compiling, tracking, reporting, and analyzing key credit and other data metrics. Additional duties include working on ad hoc projects and ensuring data integrity.
The Portfolio Analyst ensures the loan operations activities run smoothly and efficiently, provide leadership, training and supervision within the department. Responsible for loan disbursements, engaging third party partners and counsel, and is involved in loan file production and maintenance. Provides a high level of customer relations and service.
The Collateral Specialist is responsible for supporting the asset based lending teams which includes effectively and efficiently monitoring the underlying collateral supporting the outstanding balances on the asset based loan facilities.
The Foreign Exchange Operations Specialist is responsible for the maintenance of all global off-shore accounts along with the overall responsibility for the process of foreign currencies funds settlements including different types of hedging activities and processing foreign check collections.
The position of Post Closing Specialist is responsible for all tasks related to the loan file following wiring of funds to escrow/title and/or recording of loan documents. This position ensures that all required documentation is included in the loan file and verified for quality, completeness and accuracy. The Post Closing Specialist will work closely with the Loan Production Manager and with bank personnel to ensure proper procedures are followed.

The Middle Market Loan Underwriting Officer is responsible for underwriting difficult loan requests and renewals for working capital lines of credit, commercial real estate loans, term loans, formula based lines of credit, traditional asset based lines of credit and other Bank lending products. The analyst reviews the loan structure, financial spreads, entity structures, collateral, market data and reports to understand inherent risks and prepare a recommendation to Credit Administration in the form of opportunity memos, loan presentations, administrative action memos, and annual reviews.
The Universal Banker is responsible for performing duties and support related to branch operational activities and financial services; processes new account transactions; assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services; cash management products; cross-selling the Bank’s products and services; opening, maintaining and closing of all account types; performing branch clerical duties; promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services The Universal Banker is also expected to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in the areas of teller, vault, safe deposit, processing, discussing and accepting credit applications, IRA’s and is required to provide leadership, training and support to less experienced new account representatives and other branch staff members. This position will be located at our Downtown Los Angeles location.
Senior Loan Administrators are responsible for completing all of the tasks involved with closing and disbursing commercial loans for a variety of loan products offered by the Bank, including Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, asset based lending, small business administration, construction (Senior Loan Administrators typically focus on supporting a particular type of loan product). They serves as liaison with many internal and external parties including the Lending Origination Officer, borrower, third party closing agents (such as escrow and title companies), Documentation and Compliance, Credit Administration, and Loan Servicing.
Senior Loan Administrators work with the Lending Origination Officer to gather the appropriate documentation and collateral from the Borrower, verifying documents and researching information to prepare closing documents. Works with partners to resolve any issues or obstacles to closing (e.g., liens, judgments, insurance, and title exceptions) with appropriate parties. Confirms all loans are closed in compliance with Company procedures and relevant regulations.
The Commercial Loan Administrator is responsible for processing and closing commercial loans in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. This includes working with the Relationship Manager / Account Officer to gather all due diligence information required for financial and credit analysis and loan approval. The Commercial Loan Closer is responsible for ensuring that loans are properly documented and that both supporting and contractual documentation complies with state and federal laws and protects the interest of the Bank and its customers. This role will be focused on Tech Lending.
The Vice President, HOA Banking position is an outside sales position that focus’ on developing new business opportunities by offering Alliance Association Bank’s industry specific banking services and products to the Community Association Industry. The primary focus of this position is to develop new business opportunities, while servicing existing clients. The day-to-day task of this position will include, but not be limited to; cold calling, establishing new business opportunities, providing sales presentations, attending industry trade show events, marketing to prospects via phone/email/in-person visits, following-up with existing clients on customer service items and perform light administrative task. This individual will be responsible to perform the above task in conjunction with promoting and educating existing clients and future clients on the products and services offered through Alliance Association Bank.
This position requires 75% travel mostly throughout an assigned territory in Northern LA Market and surrounding areas. It will require some additional traveling throughout the country to annual conferences and training segments that will be mandatory. Additionally, the candidate for this position must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and CRM applications.
The position of an Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and office support to the managers and officers in various departments such as Underwriting, Credit Compliance Group and Credit Administration; coordinates meetings, training, and department workflow; gathers data and compiles various reports for management; assists with special projects as needed; maintains files; issues correspondence; maintains office supplies; receives and distributes mail and correspondence, promotes busin�ess for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations. Also indirectly supports branch lending personnel through developing and producing management reports and maintaining portfolio management data.
The Bankcard Services Support Representative is responsible for performing daily functions to facilitate the servicing of the ATM/Debit cards, Business credit cards, EFT disputes and ATM monitoring for all Western Alliance Bancorporation (WAL) affiliate banks.
The Letter of Credit Specialist will:
- Delivers all aspects of Letters of Credit including commercial LC, standby LC and Documentary Collection.
- Provides advisory services to clients to ensure that their letter of credit documents comply with the terms and conditions of the letter of credit.
- Applies the Compliance and Letter of Credit Rules on the day to day transactions.
- Implements and manage Letter of Credit Reporting.
Under direct supervision, the Senior Bank Teller accepts commercial and individual checking and savings deposits, loan payments and cashes checks within authorized limits. Promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations, and referring customers to others for new services. Complies with all regulatory policies, procedures, and processes, including Bank Secrecy Act (“BSA”) and Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), as they relate to job duties, and participates in all required training. Responsible for reporting any customer suspected of suspicious activity immediately to the BSA Officer.
